Ande is chief technology officer. She has been using technology for almost twenty years to complete a wide variety of projects from complex physics data analysis to websites designed to help people keep in touch and informed. She likes to put computers to work to make tasks simpler, smoother, and easier to understand. In addition to that, her keen interest in her own financial situation has helped tremendously in developing vilkri.
Ande has a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. She has authored several academic journal articles in physics, as well as a medical journal article. She is active in support of families caring for children with disabilities, in particular Aicardi syndrome, which affects her daughter. She enjoys baking, sewing, and contra dancing. Her next personal goal is to learn to play the violin.
