I agree that your budget needs to allow for month to month fluctuations but be monitored to stay on track over the long term.

In response to: Our family budget: struggling with the struggle.

Walter [Visitor] · http://www.lionslinger.com
Buying bug hits many people, especially those who make it as an escape from their gloominess, or perhaps to add excitement into their life. I've always been a victim of this habit and it is hard to let go. However, I will never alleviate myself if I continue on this attitude. So, despite the struggle, I have made some sacrifice. :-)

I find it really hard to return things. Just don't like that uneasy feeling. But yeah if you don't spend money or other stuff like that can really bottle up inside you. There should really be a good way to not let that build, but I dont know of that.

In response to: Keep household expenses in check

According to me saving money is very important factor, so we have to see all small things from which we can save single penny. This recession applies to household expenses. Check out some ways for saving like always look for sale, don’t use bottled water, always buy from same shop. Evey person should inculcate the habit of savings for brighter and secured future.
